Meet Hillary…

Fun Facts:

  • I grew up in the Pacific North West, playing in the forests, rivers and beaches, always enamored with the nature around me.

  • I spend my free time with my sweet baby boy and my husband, exploring the outdoors, doing arts & crafts and trying new restaurants/cafes.

  • I have lived in 4 different countries and have visited over 20.

  • I used to be a pre-school teacher in charge of 10 two year olds, I don’t believe in the “Terrible Twos” they are just too cute to be terrible!

  • I have worked as a Personal Stylist, E-commerce Stylist, and Visual Merchandiser for the past 10 years

With over a decade of experience in the fashion industry, I have witnessed firsthand the relentless cycle of consumption and the push for more—more clothes, more trends, more of everything. It made me question: do we really need that fifth pair of dark wash jeans or that brand new dress for a wedding of a distant relative? I saw piles of clothing going to waste and season after season of pieces that looked exactly the same but marketed as something different. I became disillusioned by the apparel market and needed to find a way to align my love for clothing with my deep respect for our planet.

My passion for thrifting opened my eyes to the world of pre-loved treasures. I realized that what ever you are looking for you can ALWAYS find second hand, bringing me to the conclusion that there is no reason to ever buy a brand new piece of clothing (well besides underwear of course). Soon though I found myself caught in a cycle of thrifting, reselling, and thrifting again, I began to wonder why I still felt unsatisfied with my closet, despite constantly refreshing it. Even though I thought I had “beat the system” I still was getting stuck in a scarcity mindset, never being fulfilled. That’s when I decided to take a closer look at every piece I owned. I tried things on, styled them in new ways, and rediscovered forgotten favorites. In this process, I realized that I had an abundance of clothes (cute ones at that), while I had often felt like I had nothing to wear.

This journey inspired me to reconnect with my personal style and redefine how I wanted my wardrobe to make me feel. Now, I’m here to help you do the same! Together, we’ll explore the beauty in your existing pieces and trust your instincts about what you truly love. Let’s embrace your unique style and have some fun along the way—because fashion should feel inspiring!
